Jorge-Luiz Silva

CTO

Jorge-Luiz Silva joined ArcelorMittal Group in 1986. In 2014, He took the position as Deputy COO in Valin ArcelorMittal Automotive Steel Co., Ltd (VAMA). During his tenure, he served as Deputy Project Leader for VAMA greenfield project and construction, he was also part of VAMA leadership for Phase 2 construction to expand its current capacity to 2.2mtpy. He joined AMORNEX in 2025 as CTO.

Jorge graduated from the Federal School of Engineering in Belo Horizonte/Minas Gerais – CEFET/MG, Brazil, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also holds an MBA from the Getulio Vargas Foundation and has completed professional courses in project management at the IETEC Institute.
