Jurgen Cobbaut

CMO

Jurgen Cobbaut joined ArcelorMittal Group in 2003. He has moved to China in 2011, taking the role as CTO in ArcelorMittal Greenfield project, Valin ArcelorMittal Automotive Steel Co., Ltd(VAMA), and in July 2017, he was assigned as CMO in VAMA, covering Sales, Technical Support, Marketing, Planning, Supply Chain, Business Development, Branding and Communication. Under his leadership, VAMA achieved strong results for 3 consecutive years from 2019, with a 75% increase in automotive sales and profitability above budget. In 2025, Jurgen joined AMORNEX as CMO.

Jurgen holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Ghent, Belgium, and Global EMBA from China European International Busienss School (CEIBS).
